A Message From Sugar and Skin

Your outstanding experience is our priority.  In order to ensure a seamless relationship, we've established brief but effective guidelines.  We appreciate your business and look forward to exceeding your expectations.​

Appointment Etiquette

Since reservations are planned to allow the correct time for each treatment, it's important to be punctual.  Enough extra time is reserved so you can change clothes, complete any necessary paperwork, and begin your experience without worries.

A 24-hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your treatment.  Although it is your responsibility as the client to remember your appointments,  as a courtesy, confirmation is made at least 48-hours in advance via text and email.

  If a last minute rescheduling or cancellation of your reservation occurs, or if you fail to show up for your scheduled reservation, your provider reserves the right to charge the appropriate fees for the service(s). In order to reserve your appointment time, a card is kept on file for each client.

Cancellation/Reschedule fees are as follows: 

  • 24-Hours or more advance notice = no fee.

  • Less than 24-hours notice = 50% of reserved service(s), or $20, whichever is greater.

  • No notice given (no show) = 100% of the reserved service(s)

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

If you are less than 15 minutes late for your scheduled reservation time, your provider may not be able to provide the full treatment, but will perform an abbreviated treatment at the full price.  More than 15 minutes late will be considered a last minute cancellation/reschedule and the above fee will apply.  We do understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, and will handle these on a case by case basis. Please give us as much notice as possible should an unexpected emergency come up. Your provider reserves the right to charge the full cost of your scheduled service if you do not cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours advance notice of your scheduled time. 

This cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby clients of any availability, as well as keeping the schedule filled, in order to better serve everyone. These policies are presented and provided the ensure the best quality servicing for established and future clientele.

Payment Policy

Payments are accepted through cash and card.  Payment is due upon the conclusion of your service.

Cell Phone Policy

Please silence your phone while in the studio so that you may receive the full relaxation benefits of your visit.

Child Policy

Due to the potentially hazardous chemicals and expensive equipment in the studio, please make childcare arrangements for your children on appointment days.  Sugar and Skin and your service provider(s) will not be held accountable for injury or accidents to or caused by unsupervised children.

Minor Treatment Policy

All intake forms/consents for minors must be signed by their parent or guardian.  No Brazilian sugaring will be performed on a minor under the age of 18.

Return & Refund Policy

We are confident that you'll love the products offered so much, you won't want to return them!  Regardless, below is the return policy:

  • If you are a new client, in order to ensure you are receiving the correct products for your skin and that you follow a correctly prescribed regimen, please schedule a facial prior to making your purchase.

  • All returns must be made within 10 days of purchase.

  • Products returned unopened, unused, with the safety seal intact, resalable in original packaging, will receive a 100% store credit of the product purchase price.  Opened, unsealed, and/or partially used products are not returnable.

  • Purchase of seasonal items, discounted items, or "sale" items are final.

  • No refunds on services.  If you are in any way dissatisfied with the service you received please contact us immediately so together we can reach a solution.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.  Gift Certificates expire one year from the purchase date.   Sugar and Skin is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates; lost or stolen Gift Certificates will not be replaced.

Privacy Policy

We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

 We respect the privacy of our clients and will not release any client information to third parties.  We never trade, sell, rent, or share addresses or any other personal information with anyone.  Any information obtained is used to process your purchase or maintain your client file only.  Client contact information is used solely for the purpose of communication between Sugar and Skin and our clients.
